Lydia Gouteux a une formation de stylisme de mode à l’Institut Supérieur de Mode, fut stagiaire en Sérigraphie, en cours de cursus, au Collège of Arts de Taunton (G.B) et diplômée des métiers d’Arts de l’ Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré de Paris.
A l'issue de ses formations, Lydia Gouteux travaille pendant quatre années le dessin textile dans les bureaux de tendance de mode de Paris « Carlin international »,« La Maille », pour le prêt-à-porter « Biscote », « Basicos Studio » et pour les bureaux de dessin textile en mode vestimentaire Homme/Femme et ameublement « Docteur Style», « Caroline et Bettina», « Pesah Design, Paris-New York » ; ses créations sont vendues en Grande Bretagne, Etats-Unis, Allemagne, Portugal, Turquie, Japon et bien sur en France
Suite à la volonté de transmettre ses connaissances et de les faire partager, elle crée :
- des ateliers de stylisme et de décoration intérieur, pour les jeunes et adultes,
- des ateliers de techniques mixtes en Arts Plastiques, au travers de Projets Actions Culturelles, en partenariat avec l’Education Nationale,
- des formations pour animateurs en Arts Plastiques
De même, depuis 2000, elle s’engage dans l’art thérapie auprès des hôpitaux et collabore également à différentes entreprises artistiques.
- Costumière sur un court métrage « Ainsi soit nous » à Dieppe.
- Création du graphisme d’un décor lumineux projeté pour la pièce « Mots d’elles » de la Cie "Hors de soi" à Dieppe.
- Graphisme – illustratrice d’une carte postale poésie dans le cadre du Printemps des Poètes.
- Performance artistique lors d’un spectacle poésie dans le cadre du Printemps des poètes.
Par ailleurs, son attirance pour l’art pluridisciplinaire lui fait adhérer à d’autres centres d’intérêts tels que le théâtre et la danse contemporaine dans l’optique d’art total.
De plus, elle intervient auprès de Lycées ou d’I.U.F.M
Artiste plasticienne éclectique, Lydia Gouteux s’impose dans diverses créations : Sculptures, Techniques Mixtes, Photographies, Installations, Peintures.
Chacune des ses œuvres exprime son lien avec l’Homme et la nature, soit par sa représentation soit par l’utilisation de différentes matières :
Ecorce, lin, fibre de bananier……
Désormais, elle se consacre à sa création d’œuvres plastiques.
